You Can Help

There are several different ways you can help the needy of Laurel County through CCC.

1) Ask your church, Sunday school class, civic group, club, or workplace to conduct a drive to benefit CCC. You can collect any of the following: nonperishable food, 33 gallon garbage bags, tall kitchen garbage bags, reams of white copy paper, laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner, gallon and quart size ziplock bags, coats, toys

2) Include CCC in your monthly or yearly giving. We are a 501(c)3 organization, which means all donations are tax deductible.

3) Volunteer a few hours a week or month to help prepare food boxes or help with the Christmas Program

4) Ask your church group to commit to fixing lunch one day each week for the workers at CCC.

5) Organize a fund-raiser to benifit CCC. It could be a car wash, bake sale, benefit singing, or even just collecting a special offering one Sunday at church.

The 3rd Annual Carolyn Marcum Lackey Golf Scramble fund-raiser benefiting CCC and London Rotary Club is approaching.  It will be held at the London Country Club on Friday, April 13th.  We need sponsors - Gold $1500.00.  That will get you advertising on all Golf Scramble literature and articles plus a four person team and hole sponsor sign.  We need teams of four players (cost is $300), raffle items (doesn't have to be golf related - drop at CCC), hole sponsors (cost is $100 per advertising sign), and small ad items such as pens, caps, chip clips, etc. for tee bags (125 of each item).

Any assistance is appreciated. 

Players will enjoy lunch provided by Penn Station, snacks and beverages, prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, and longest putt plus a super hole in one prize.  Green fees and cart rental is included plus lots of giveaways from Sponsors.

So far this year's Gold Sponsors are:  FlowersFoods & The City of London.
