May 9th 2015 is the 23rd annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! If you live in Laurel County, you can leave a bag of canned food by your mailbox and the mail carriers will deliver the donations to CCC Food Pantry. It’s an easy way to help feed the hungry in our community.
For over two decades, the U.S. Postal Service has joined the National Association of Letter Carriers to help Stamp Out Hunger in America. Last year was the 11th consecutive year of more than 70 million pounds of food donated. Since the beginning, 22 years ago, more than 1 billion pounds of food have been collected.
CCC is mostly funded through our thrift store sales. We also receive support from area churches and individuals. Businesses support us through our fund-raisers which we conduct several times each year. Our thrift store is completely stocked with items that are donated by community members.
Thank you for visiting our website and showing interest in our organization. We hope you will help us with our mission of helping the poor.
