Programs available:

TEFAP - The Emergency Food Assistance Program Food Pantry:: This is the Government Commodity food plus CCC Food Pantry food.

Qualifications: 1) You must have an income that falls within the 130% of the Federal Income Poverty Guidelines. If your income qualifies you for food stamps, you will qualify for this program. 2) You must live in Laurel County. Bring proof of income, proof of residency and a picture ID on any Tuesday or Friday to apply for a food pantry card. Food is given out every Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

CSFP - Commodity Supplemental Food Program - Senior Food Program Qualifications: 1) You must be age 60 or over.  2) You must live in Laurel County.  3) Your income must fall within 130% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.  4) You must complete an application and be placed on a list.  Bring proof of income, proof of residency, and a picture ID on any Tuesday to fill out application.  Senior food is given out every month on the Friday that follows the second Tuesday, and that doesn't always fall on the second Friday.  See the Home page for date each month.

Clothing - You may do an assistance application to receive free clothing for every household member once every 6 months. Bring your current food pantry card or proof of income, proof of Laurel County residency, and a picture ID on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. An approved application entitles you to 3 complete outfits for each family member from our Thrift Store inventory.

Dentures & Eyeglasses - You may do an assistance application to receive up to $250 toward dentures or $65 toward eyeglasses once. Qualifications: Eyeglasses - exams must be done at Kentucky Eye Institute beside Save-a-Lot on Hwy 25. Bring eyeglasses prescription stating a balance owed of $65 with either current food pantry card or proof of income, proof of Laurel County residency, and a picture ID on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday to complete application. Dentures - Bring your food pantry card or proof of income, proof of Laurel County residency, and a picture ID to CCC on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. You will complete an application which, if approved, you will take to Allen Dental Center to have the dentures made. CCC will pay $250 toward  a set or $150 toward a plate.  You will be responsible for paying the balance minus the $250 or $150, which will then be billed to CCC.  This program will not pay for extractions or dental fees, only the dentures.

Burn Out Victims - Bring fire report to CCC Tuesday - Saturday. We will initially give you clothes. Then when you obtain housing, we can help you with furniture, linens, and household items.

Christmas Program - CCC helps families with children 6 months and older, who are not currently enrolled in public school, with Christmas.  Applications can be submitted at CCC beginning October 1.  If you do not have a current food pantry card, you must present proof of income, proof of residency, and a picture I.D.  Applications can be done on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. You must have legal custodial rights to the child to submit an application.
